Awarding a master licence the VIP way...

The following 12 photographs and text explains the 8-month journey it took for Bob Jacques, Susan Muise and VIP Bin Cleaning to meet, agree and prepare the business for launch in Ontario, Canada.

The first step is to introduce yourself to VIP Bin Cleaning this can be achieved simply by replying with your details via the enquiries page – or as in Bob’s and Susan’s case, they took the opportunity of flying to Washington to introduce themselves personally to some of the VIP team.

Once introductions had been made it soon became apparent that all parties viewed business in the same professional way and a strong relationship based on friendship and respect was being forged - this allowed the deal to progress to the next stage.

The next stage in this case was for VIP's Managing Director, Mark Harvey, to visit Bob and Susan in Ontario – this allowed him to see for himself if he believed the concept could be successfully exported into the Canadian market. It also gave everyone a chance to spend more time together allowing the relationship to develop which is crucial if you are going to work together for several years.

After both parties had agreed the concept could be successfully exported to Canada and all relevant due dilligence and legalities had been completed, the deal is agreed and Bob flies to the UK to sign the master licence agreement and commence his intensive training programme.

Photo 5: Bob is introduced to various members of the VIP Network Support team, some of whom he will be meeting for the first time.

Photos 6: Classroom training begins – this incorporates all aspects of the business, including: marketing, accounts, route planning, working with local authorities, health and safety, licences and regulations, brand and corporate image, and anything else that is needed to ensure Bob is fully equipped and conversant to operate the VIP business and franchise model.
